Creating a mailbox is not enough for reliable business email. Domains also need correct DNS authentication records. SPF, DKIM and DMARC help receiving mail servers understand whether a message is legitimate and whether it should be trusted.
SPF defines which servers are allowed to send email for your domain. It should be updated whenever hosting, SMTP or external mail services change.
DKIM signs outgoing messages and helps prove that the message was not modified in transit. Enabling DKIM in cPanel can improve delivery quality for major mail providers.
DMARC tells receiving servers how to handle messages that fail SPF or DKIM checks. Starting with monitoring and moving gradually to stricter policies is usually the safest approach.
